Annual Women’s Conference
Once a year, Rooted for Women hosts a large Women’s Conference in Columbus, OH. It is a day full of insightful topics, notable speakers from all different backgrounds and expertise, meaningful connections, intentional planning, and a supportive environment. "You can't have flowers without showers!" That is the inspiration behind these Pop-Up Networking events for female entrepreneurs. Every Month, Rooted For Women partners with a locally owned female business to put on a meaningful networking event in their space during times when they could use a little extra love. This can be off hours, slow seasons, or just to infuse with some sunshine! Then, we invite all of our friends, business owner or not, to come and show their support for that business. All of our pop up events include lite bites and beverages, networking, and a special discount or activity from the host. So whether you just want to support the business, are a budding small business owner, or an established female entrepreneur, you should be here!
Come on in to Edwin Loy Home, grab some tasty bites by Uptown Deli and Brew + beverages by Temperance Brewing Co., and participate in Rooted For Women's Curated Networking activity!
Rooted For Women's networking concept takes all the awkardness out of meeting new folks and not only makes it enjoyable, but also helps you create meaningful connections that will grow your own network! After networking and making a new connection, we will have the opportunity to make a cute photo frame to remember your night! This activity will be guided by artist and shop owner, Amy Winter. Amy will guide us through how to use Edwin Loy's Annie Craft Chalk Paint to create a beautiful momento. Not into crafting, no biggie! The entire store will be 20% off for all attendees to pereuse and grab some Spring time decor to brighten their own spaces!

You have been working hard to kick off the new year and deserve a night to connect with other women in business, get a little pampering, and support some local businesses at the Market Mingle! PLUS, it is Skinspired’s One Year anniversary in their new location and we cannot wait to celebrate them!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Doors open at 5:30pm. Get checked in, grab a card for the networking activity (speed dating for your business style!) and pick a time slot for your complimentary facial peel or mini glow facial by one of the marvelous Skinspired Estheticians!
Everyone in attendance will receive either a complimentary facial peel or a mini glow facial. Facials will be provided throughout the entire event at the time slot you pick. The infrared sauna will also be open for individual complimentary sessions - feel free to try it out at some point throughout the night!
5:45pm Introductions and guided networking activity to break the ice, create some new connections and get good vibes flowing! Business cards encouraged!
6:15pm: Market Mingle Starts! Take your card and check out the amazing, local female owned vendors. Be sure to also grab a bite provided by Westerville Chicken Salad Chick and a bevy.

The afternoon is filled with connection, support and photos for your own growing brand with top photographers!
Let’s create some of our own sunshine, get connected, and update those branding photos, together
We have rented out Humble + Pine studio from 1:30-3:30pm where we will have light bites + beverages, connection with other female entrepreneurs, a quick guided photoshoot for Rooted for Women and then you get to break out into mini groups for your own individual headshots and branding photos to support your own growing brand!
We have partnered with 2 amazing photographers to make this event one to remember. All group photos will be shared with all attendees and individual photos will be sent directly to individuals. LOTS OF QUALITY CONTENT!
Coming alone? No problem! Don’t be afraid to ask another attendee to help bring your photo vision to life! Not sure what kind of photos represent your brand? Don’t fret! We have 3 seasoned branding staff on hand to help out!

Drawing on our narrative theory of creativity, this workshop will help you begin to think narratively and use methods employed by the greatest Storythinkers to get to the specifics of what motivates you and your customers.

In 2019, Sarah was honored as one of 50 women nationwide as a Tory Burch Foundation Fellow for women in business. Known for bringing clarity and individual attention to her workshops, Sarah inspires industry leaders, school educators, and small business professionals to unearth and deploy the stories that make them resilient and uniquely able to drive change in their organization and themselves.
They offer customized in-person and webinar trainings for groups from 10-100. Their work has been touted by top companies such as Tory Burch, Victoria’s Secret, Indeed, Athleta, Gap, K&P designs, and Flight Safety International to make a few.
